christ-centered academic educationPhilosophy of Education

The CCS philosophy of education begins with Jesus Christ who is presented to every student emphasizing the development of Christ like character. CCS works with parents toward mutually agreed goals in the training and educating of children, helping to build strong, Godly families. Students will be equipped with the spiritual, intellectual, social, cultural, and physical skills necessary to compete in the secular world. (Proverbs 22:6; 4:13).

  • To educate students so that they will successfully integrate Christian character and philosophy into their total life (Psalms 86:11; Matthew 28:19; Romans 12)

  • To encourage the learning of necessary skills required for meaningful participation in society as an adult
  • To nurture competency in communication and research skills, and the ability to make mature decisions (Proverbs 1:2, 5; II Timothy 2:2).

  • To enable students to adequately understand and appreciate the privileges and responsibilities of living in a democracy (Proverbs 1:3, 10; I Thessalonians 4:11-12).
