Welcome to 1st and 2nd grade! My name is Megan Lee and this is my first year of teaching at Covenant Christian School. I grew up in the Chicagoland area and married my high school sweetheart, David, in college. I graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Developmental Reading. I taught my first year in Webb City, MO where I taught 4th grade. After that, we moved back home to be near our family and I taught for several years at Calvary Christian School where I taught 1st grade, kindergarten and 5th grade. After that I stayed home with my daughter Tessa for a few years and homeschooled her for preschool and kindergarten. I am so excited to be here and be a part of the Covenant Christian School family. I feel so truly blessed to be here.

Vision statement
My passion is to educate and grow young minds. I strive to create a classroom environment that fosters learning and student growth. Every child learns differently. God gives each and every one of us strengths and weaknesses. It’s so important to encourage a child to press harder into their strengths and to be there to help and guide them through their weaknesses. I love being able to implement multiple teaching styles to reach those students who don’t learn in just the typical format. Every child is a true gift from God and I feel so blessed that I am able to be there every day to help these students grown academically and spiritually in their relationship with God.
